Chicken breast in gypsy sauce

We wash the meat and cut it into pieces. Season with salt and pepper.

Put the oil in a saucepan and fry the meat on all sides. Then take it out on a plate.

Heat the finely chopped onion in the remaining oil. Then add diced peppers or thin strips and finely chopped cucumbers.

Add the tomato juice and pepper paste together with the thyme, bay leaf and paprika. If necessary, we can add a little more water.

Let it boil for 10 minutes then add salt, pepper and chili.

Add the chicken breast and let it boil for another 2-3 minutes.

Serve hot with your favorite garnish. We had mashed potatoes.
