Vanilla cake

Vanilla cake

Whisk the egg whites with the salt powder, add the sugar and mix until they become shiny. Next add the yolks rubbed with oil, then the flour with the baking powder, and finally the cocoa. Put it in a greased tray or with baking paper. (28 cm), bake for 30 -40 minutes. Remove and leave to cool on the grill.

Cream: 500 ml of milk, with the sugar and vanilla essence are put on the fire. With the remaining milk (125 ml) dissolve the starch in a bowl. When the milk on the fire starts to boil, pour the starch and stir continuously so as not to form lumps. Leave it to cool, and when it is cold, beat the whipped cream and incorporate it into the cream.

Syrup: I made it simple, put water in a bowl and sugar, mix until the sugar dissolves and add the vanilla essence.

Glaze: Break the chocolate into pieces, put the whipped cream, put it on steam or on low heat until it is homogenous and leave it to cool.

ASSEMBLY: Cut the top in 2, syrup one part, put the cream, the other part of the top in syrup, again the cream, the chocolate icing, and on top decorate with whipped cream and grated chocolate.
